Make use of your appliqué skills by stitching up this joyful flower and butterfly quilt pattern.
The applique pattern contains full-size appliqué diagrams of all the flowers and butterflies as well as instructions to download free SVG files, which you can use to cut your appliqué shapes with an electronic cutting machine.
The original quilt was made entirely with “solid” batiks from Island Batik. You will be needing 4 yards of background fabric and then fat quarters or similar size of 16 other colors for the butterflies and flowers.
The primary technique done in this quilt is raw-edge fused appliqué. But you can also explore other appliqué techniques that you are comfortable with. Though, when trying other applique methods, you may need to adjust the yardage requirements indicated on the pattern guide.
The finished Jaelyn's Quilt Pattern will measure 55×70 inches.
