Let this little Sunbonnet Sue pincushion quilt with flower and butterfly add some summer charm to your sewing space!
This little Sunbonnet Sue pincushion is quick to make and would make a great little travel project!
Our Sunbonnet Sue pattern is developed for hand applique but can also be made with machine applique.
Included in the pattern is a full-sized placement diagram as well as both mirror image and right side templates of all the shapes so it can be adapted to your favorite applique technique.
We used all Liberty of London fabric for our cheery sample. Also consider that Sunbonnet Sue could be lovely in feedsack style prints, Civil War reproductions, or in an eclectic mix from the scrap basket.
