Get a little spring flavor with our March Pincushion Pattern! This is the third pincushion pattern in our “Year of Pincushions” series for 2021.
The top panel of the pincushion measures 5 inches across and the side panels are 2 inches tall. The pincushion top features a simple hand applique block (you can also make it with machine applique if that is preferred). The side panels feature a foundation paper pieced chevron-ish pattern. The foundation paper piecing templates in the pattern make these side panels much easier than they look at first glance.
The entire pincushion sews up in a few hours. It is the perfect gift for a fellow creative friend or decor in your sewing room.
