I was enjoying this little gem by Austin Kleon with my morning coffee today. Though not a quilt related book per se, this title is wonderfully inspiring for everybody who aspire to create on a regular basis.
Steal Like An Artist is packed with advise for the creative person. I think my favorite line so far was: “Creative people need time to just sit around and do nothing. I get some of my best ideas when I am bored, which is why I never take my shirts to the cleaners. I love ironing my shirts – it’s so boring, I almost always get good ideas. If you are out of ideas, wash the dishes.”

He has a nice website, and even a TED talk so it is worth visiting.
